IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM KIDLINGTON PARISH COUNCIL

We hope this finds you well and coping with the dramatic adjustments we are all having to make during the Covid 19 emergency.

Kidlington Parish Council has been working with a number of different agencies during the crisis to help share information, support community initiatives, and identify needs. We have publicized a number of support groups and organizations at http://www.kidlington-pc.gov.uk.

We are aware that across the village, as the rest of the country, many informal support groups have been set up to enable residents to help their neighbours. We are keen to build a picture of this support by mapping the area to ensure that nobody can fall through the gaps.

If you are part of group in your neighbourhood or are aware of one operating near you, we would be grateful if you could let us know:
• What area of Kidlington the group is serving.
• Who is the main contact/street champion?
• Contact details for main contact – email/mobile.
• How many volunteers does the group have?
Please also tell us if you know of individuals or families who are not getting the help that they need.

We realise that some groups may not want their details published and we are happy to keep them confidential. However, we would be grateful if you could let us have as much information as possible so that, working with our colleagues at Cherwell District Council, we can ensure the most vulnerable in our village are supported during this time.

Please reply with any information to clerk@kidlington-pc.gov.uk
