Stratfield Brake

 

The adjoining land is owned by the Woodland Trust and includes walks through woods and lakes which have been specially created to attract wild life and wetland birds. Birds recorded over the last year include: Little Egret, Buzzard, Common Tern, Redshank, Green Sandpiper, Common Sandpiper and Ringed Plover. For more information visit: www.woodland-trust.org.uk

Located at Frieze Way, Kidlington OX5 1UP, Stratfield Brake is Kidlington’s premier sporting facility with a fine pavilion, two cricket grounds, three rugby pitches, a football pitch and the largest area of public open space in the village.

The pavilion provides excellent modern space for conferences and parties.

Stratfield Brake is leased by the Parish Council but is now run by Cherwell District Council; the Parish Council continues to contribute a substantial operating subsidy.
