Providing local facilities and services is the main responsibility of the Parish Council. You can find further information here about parks and recreation areas, cemeteries, allotments, and venues for hire.
The Council owns the very attractive wildlife reserve at St Mary's Fields, which is maintained by a group of volunteers.
There is a Lunch Club for the community every Thursday at 12pm in Exeter Hall, provided by Cherwell Collective's Climatarian Kitchen. All are welcome.
Sports
The Parish Council owns or leases a large number of playing fields in the village. Most are managed by the Kidlington Recreational Trust. The playing fields in Exeter Close are managed by the Council itself.
The Council also leases premier sporting faciliities at Stratfield Brake, which are now managed by Cherwell District Council.

Exeter Close also houses the Kidlington Bowls Club, and the Pavilion is used by the Kidlington Forum Table Tennis Club.
