We were lucky with the weather again at this year’s Gala Day and hundreds of people came along to Exeter Close to enjoy the day. We had a petting farm, donkey rides, go karts, climbing wall, drumming workshop, fairground rides all provided free for local families to enjoy. This year there was also a Dog Show and Wild Kidlington’s Green Lane which brought together all kinds of environmental groups to tell people what they have been doing in the local area and get feedback from residents about how our green spaces are used and what improvements could be made.
Garden City Football Club provided the barbeque and the WI did tea and delicious cakes. There were lots of stalls in the main hall and Stagecoach provided entertainment throughout the day. A really wonderful day for all who came along.
