Cherwell Community Larder Needs Volunteers!
Published: 29 July 2020
Working in partnership with SOFEA and local councils, Cherwell community larder helps fill the gap in food supply for those in need. Food parcels are supplied once a week on Saturday afternoons. We feed over 150 people in Kidlington and surrounding villages.
We need volunteers for 1 to 2 hours each week on Friday and/or Saturday afternoons.
We are especially looking for people able to help with loading and unloading vans (lifting up to 7kgs at once), organising our stockroom, packing boxes and meal kits, and helping with the distribution of parcels from our hub at Exeter Hall.
If you aren’t available on Fridays but want to help us with driving on Saturdays, or fundraising or admin, please also get in touch. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org, or call 01865 817676 if you can help.
If you need to sign up for food parcel delivery do so here https://forms.gle/kPsczkXuT1huZs4m7. No referral necessary.
