Stratfield Brake Sports GroundLocated at Frieze Way, Kidlington OX5 1UP, Stratfield Brake is Kidlington’s premier sporting facility with a fine pavilion, two cricket grounds, three rugby pitches, a football pitch and the largest area of public open space in the village. A joint committee of Kidlington Parish Council and Gosford and Water Eaton Parish Council manages the pavilion and grounds. The pavilion provides excellent modern space for conferences and parties and is available for hire when not in use for sport. The adjoining land is owned by the Woodland Trust and includes walks through woods and lakes which have been specially created to attract wild life and wetland birds.
